The Sharp HT-SB200 review

If you are looking for a modestly priced yet quality speaker system, here is an interesting offer for you. HT-SB200 is one of Sharp speaker systems ideal for boosting TV sounding quality, though it is not the best model for home theater systems.

The Sharp HT-SB200 is a 2.1 speaker system enclosing two speakers and four subwoofers. It encloses HDSS, or High Definition Sound Standard, and SRS WOW HD – the technologies that help to achieve a surround sound effect and simulate a 5.1 speaker system. Thanks to them, you can experience deep bass and clear treble that are essential for realistic sounding.

The Sharp HT-SB200 has a slim remote control, dual audio inputs, an automatic on/off button, two RCA jacks (right and left), a programmed equalizer, and an auxiliary jack for any other audio source, for example, an MP3 player. The remote control has all necessary button, even bass and treble level adjustment, which makes the system easy to use.

The drawback of the model is superficial bass and loss of rear effects. The system is meant just for sound boosting and not for enveloping.

As far as its design is concerned, it is designed so that not to drive attention but to be a part of your TV. The Sharp HT-SB200 has nice looking black finish, it is very slim and convenient. It can be placed everywhere you like due to its compacts dimensions: 65 mm H x 70 mm D x 800 mm W. The speaker system comes with screw-in feet for convenient and steady placement on the table surface. It may be mounted on the wall as well, which is the preferable placement for any speaker system. The soundbar has a display which provides you with useful information. The Sharp speaker system sports a 1 year warranty, and it is priced as much as $ 250.
